Your Counsellor

Welcome! I'm Matt Vincent, a professional counsellor with over decade of experience with in various non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in Queensland. 

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work in diverse settings. I have been involved with Triple P International for several years, collaborating with numerous organizations that offer Anger Management programs. Additionally, I have supported the establishment of a new mental health counselling service and worked as a counsellor for a domestic violence organization. Worked for Carer Gateway supporting carers.

My areas of expertise encompass individual counselling, relationship counselling, marriage counselling, trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, and mental health. As a registered member of the Australian Counselling Association, I hold a post-graduate diploma in psychology, a bachelor's degree in counselling, and a diploma in counselling. Notably, I have significant experience in couples counselling, as well as providing guidance in managing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and loss.

I approach counselling with utmost respect and a non-judgmental mindset. Creating a warm, stress-free, and safe space is essential to our therapeutic journey, where we can collaboratively develop a tailored plan that addresses your specific needs.
